Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven General Manager to establish and lead a German branch driving business growth in Germany and neighboring European markets. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the companys goals oversee operations and build a strong local team. This role requires a proven track record in business development market expansion and team management with a focus on the tech and electronics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop longterm strategic and annual business plans tailored to the German market ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and promoting sustainable growth.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand local industry trends customer needs and competitor landscapes providing datadriven insights and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to increase market share in Germany and neighboring European regions.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients suppliers partners and industry associations to enhance the companys brand and reputation.
- Build and manage a highperforming team overseeing recruitment training motivation and performance assessments to meet business needs effectively.
- Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth execution of business activities compliant management systems and optimized workflows.
- Act as a bridge between the German branch and headquarters ensuring effective communication resource sharing and alignment with corporate strategies.
- Set performance goals and regularly evaluate team and branch achievements implementing improvement measures as necessary.
- Develop incentive mechanisms to foster motivation creativity and high performance among team members.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong problemsolving communication and collaboration abilities with high energy and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proven experience and understanding of the German market including successful sales or marketing achievements.
- Ability to build and lead teams from the ground up with prior management experience.
- Familiarity with the tech or electronics industry is preferred leveraging existing resources effectively.
- Fluency in English and Chinese; German proficiency is highly preferred.
- Bachelors degree or higher preferably in engineering or technology fields with a minimum of 5 years in multinational company management.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Germany with recent experience managing the German market. Visa sponsorship available if required.
