Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (xrays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Provide patients with followup instructions following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Qualifications :
Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
Xray certification where state regulations specify
