- Oversees the maintenance safety and operational efficiency of the physical environment at an Independent Living & Personal Care areas of the Senior Care Community.
- Responsible for overseeing housekeeping laundry services and transportation services.
- Ensures that the communitys buildings grounds and equipment are properly maintained in compliance with regulatory standard.
- Ensures a safe comfortable and wellfunctioning environment for residents staff and visitors.
- Develops and manages the facilities department budget ensuring costeffective practices in purchasing staffing and energy use.
- Liaise with and manage external contractors and service providers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in facilities management engineering or a related field preferred.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- 5 years of experience in facilities management preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of building systems maintenance protocols and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA ADA fire codes).
- Proven experience in budget management and vendor/contractor relations.
- Proficiency with maintenance management software and standard office applications.
