Job Description
Oversees the Wellness departments for Grace Park a Personal Care Home consisting of 92 beds and a secured memory support neighborhood.
Responsibilities:
- Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments
- Monitors the medication and treatment cart nurses station and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations
- Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function
- Makes daily round and audits including shift report to ensure proper care documentation and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department.
- Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising educating and helping them develop.
Qualifications :
- Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an LPN preferably within the aging services industry.
- Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
