Job Description
We are searching for a Group Accountant to join our accounting team.
As the Group Accountant at Smit Lamnalco you will play a vital role in overseeing the daytoday financial administration of several complex and comprehensive entities. This includes managing monthly closings and providing accurate management information on actuals budgets and forecasts. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting of corporate entities such as holding head office and payroll entities.
- Prepare and submit monthly closings periodic forecasts and budgets.
- Support and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Handle CBS filings.
- Manage tax filings including VAT submissions.
- Oversee payroll administration accounting and reporting including WKR in direct coordination with HR.
- Participate in adhoc finance projects.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Qualifications :
Education and background:
- Bachelor or master degree in finance.
- 4 6 years work experience.
Must have skills:
- Knowledge in IFRS.
- Payroll accounting including WKR.
- VAT filing.
- CBS reporting.
- Knowledge or experience in maritime industry is a pre.
- Experience with OneStream is a pre.
- Work independently while remaining a good team player.
