Interventional Radiographer I
FullTime  Rotating Shift (7am7pm) 

Baltimore MD

We are looking for talented professionals to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center.  
 

Job Summary:

Under general supervision perform routine and specialized diagnostic and therapeutic angiography procedures on patients following established parameters/protocols for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Assist in maintaining a smooth operational flow and maximum patient volume.

  • Clinical Practice/Patient Care Operates technical angiography equipment and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with standard operating procedures according to departmental policies procedures/protocols and as appropriate for the particular patient.

Qualifications :

  • Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered or Registryeligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 
  • Licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced Certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology or Vascular Intervention required.    
  • CPR certification is required.
