Job Description
Job Summary
The Cancer Nurse Coordinator/Navigator is responsible for providing guidance support and education to patients and their families (in area(s) of specified disease specialty) through the diagnostic treatment and followup portions of their care. The nurse collaborates with health care team members to assess plan implement and evaluate patients care. This position serves as a resource to all clinical disciplines relative to the assigned area(s) of disease specialty.
Qualifications :
Education
- 2 year / Associates Degree: Nursing (Required)
- 4 year / Bachelors Degree: Nursing (Preferred)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- BLS Certification (Required)
- State Registered Nurse License (Required)
- Oncology Nursing Certification (Preferred)
Experience and Skills
- 0 1 year Nursing experience in a hospital setting. (Required)
- 0 1 year Oncology care experience. (Required)
- 2 4 years Oncology care experience. (Preferred
