We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for helping patients with physical problems resulting from illness, injury, or disability. Your goal will be to restore and maintain their maximum functional movement and overall wellbeing. Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' physical conditions and create personalized treatment plans
Implement and administer specialized physiotherapy techniques and exercises
Monitor and assess patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on various physiotherapy exercises and self-care techniques
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and treatment protocols
Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including their movement, posture, strength, and flexibility.
Use various diagnostic tools and techniques, such as physical examinations, medical history review, and specialized tests, to identify musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiovascular issues.
Evaluate the severity of a patient’s condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan based on their individual needs and goals.
Treatment Planning:
Create personalized physiotherapy treatment plans that align with the patient’s condition, functional goals, and recovery timeline.
Set realistic and measurable goals with patients to improve their mobility, reduce pain, and enhance physical function.
Use a variety of treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise programs, electrotherapy, heat or cold therapy, and postural training, to address different conditions.
Administering Physical Therapies:
Perform hands-on treatments such as joint mobilizations, manipulations, and soft tissue mobilizations to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve joint stability.
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
Proven work experience as a Physiotherapist
Excellent knowledge of physiotherapy practices, techniques, and principles
Ability to assess and diagnose patients' conditions accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care
In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, musculoskeletal and neurological systems, and physical therapy modalities.
Proficiency in assessment techniques, manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation methods.
Familiarity with the use of physical therapy equipment and modalities such as ultrasound, TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), hot/cold packs, and exercise machines.
Strong communication skills to explain treatment options, provide education, and offer support to patients and their families.
Soft Skills:
Empathy and patience when working with patients, particularly those dealing with pain or long-term recovery.
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients and their families.
Ability to motivate patients to follow treatment plans and stay committed to their rehabilitation programs.
Effective time management and organizational skills to balance multiple patients and treatment sessions.
