Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to students. Your role will involve assisting with lesson preparation, engaging in classroom activities, and providing individualized help to students when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Responsibilities

Assist the teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans
Support the teacher in maintaining discipline and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
Help students with their assignments and provide individualized instruction when needed
Assist with grading and evaluating students' work
Collaborate with the teacher to identify and address students' learning needs
Monitor and record students' progress and communicate with parents and caregivers
Supervise students during lunch breaks, recess, and other non-classroom activities
Classroom Support:

Assist the teacher in managing the classroom environment, ensuring students remain engaged and focused.
Prepare teaching materials, set up equipment, and organize resources for lessons.
Supervise students during activities, group work, or independent learning sessions.
Student Assistance:

Provide individualized or small-group support to students who need extra help understanding concepts or completing tasks.
Assist students with special educational needs or disabilities, ensuring they can participate fully in class activities.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Lesson Delivery:

Support the teacher in delivering lessons by explaining concepts, demonstrating tasks, or answering student questions.
Lead small group discussions or activities under the teacher’s guidance.
Help students with practical exercises, experiments, or creative projects.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
Effective organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of instructional techniques and strategies
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage classroom and administrative duties.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Patience and empathy to support students’ diverse needs and learning paces.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping, material preparation, and online resources.
