Roles and responsibilities

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. As an Air Conditioning Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of air conditioning systems.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and address potential issues.
Replace or repair defective components to restore proper functionality.
Collaborate with customers to determine their air conditioning needs and provide suitable recommendations.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance work.
Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Installation of AC Systems:

Install air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Ensure proper placement and secure installation of compressors, ducts, piping, and wiring.
Test new installations to verify system functionality and performance.
Maintenance and Servicing:

Perform routine maintenance to ensure AC systems operate efficiently, including cleaning filters, coils, and vents.
Inspect and calibrate thermostats, compressors, and other components for optimal performance.
Replace worn or defective parts such as motors, fans, or capacitors.
Repairs and Troubleshooting:

Diagnose issues in malfunctioning systems, such as refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, or airflow problems.
Repair or replace defective components, wiring, and equipment as needed.
Ensure systems are operational after repairs through rigorous testing and inspection.
Refrigerant Handling:

Safely handle and refill refrigerants following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
Detect and fix refrigerant leaks using specialized tools and techniques.
Ensure proper documentation of refrigerant usage to comply with legal requirements.

Desired candidate profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in air conditioning repair and maintenance.
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician.
Strong knowledge of different types of air conditioning systems and their operation.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency in using HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.
Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuitry, and refrigerant properties.
Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and effectively.
