You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Event Services Supervisors Primary Goal is to directly oversee all FOH operations guest services security and safety plans for all arena events. To ensure clients have all of their needs met when they visit our venue. To guide motivate and educate the staff under their direct supervision.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with promoters vendors clients of the facility and team members.
Oversees the timely and effective response to requests received from external organizations agencies departments and individuals; assures and maintains the integrity of the department and Boyd Gaming in all forms of communication and personal contacts.
Ensure effective and efficient utilization of personnel and resources within the respective departments of this position
Develop specific and detailed crowd management plans for all events at the facility
Responsible for recruiting interviewing and hiring of all Guest Services event staff
Facilitate training of all Guest Services employees
Maintain a public safety plan for the facility and train all employees on that plan
Oversee that all guest concerns are handled in an appropriate and timely manner
Advise the Event Manager on all department details and staffing plans for various events
Ensure proper budget parameters are met for each event
Schedule and do position placements for all Guest Service staff
Maintain accurate reports of time and attendance records for as many as 100 150 people
Prepare department billing for post event settlement
Schedule 3rd party contractors including but not limited to extra staffing companies and medical staff
Work with show specific concourse vendors on the loadin/out of each event
Ability to resolve various issues with unhappy guests and manage disruptive patrons.
General knowledgeable in other areas of facility operations such as booking marketing catering production and accounting.
Develop friendly and familiar relationships with Suite Owners Club Seat Members Season Ticket Holders and regularly attending guests.
Assist management in new policies and procedures in the area of facility staffing.
