Specialty Food Runner

Receive food and beverage orders from guests. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards. Operate cash register complete monetary transactions and maintain an accurate bank. Refills sets/resets stocks clears and cleans dishes glassware silverware linens condiments beverages napkin holders and all other related supplies.

• Create and ensure a funfilled entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount
• Promote positive coworker and guest interactions maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees departments and guests
• Demonstrates a courteous friendly polite and congenial and efficient attitude
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor
• Adhere to established company and departmental policies procedures and guidelines at all times
• Must always adheres to health & sanitation guidelines
• Knows and adheres to food and beverage policy and procedures
• Maintain establish company and departmental uniform appearance and hygiene standards at all times
• Greet and take food and beverage orders from guests enter orders into Micros complete cash credit or comp transactions and maintain an accurate bank
• Prepare food orders set trays and transport food & beverage items to food service areas guest rooms togo order waiting areas and banquet events in an efficient manner and provide excellent quality service
• Delivery of supplies liquor beer ice requisitions etc. must be completed as assigned and completed in an efficient accurate and timely manner
• Responsible for setting tables including but not limited to proper dressing napkins silverware tabletop condiments ice buckets etc.
• Bussing tables and trays from guest rooms or hallways
• Maintain breakdown area
• Completes all established setup stocking and closing duties on time
• Must maintain an adequate supply of fresh linens china silver glassware and other food service accessories (bars beer car pump rooms storage areas etc.) at all times.
• Refills salt and pepper shakers napkin holders and all other related supplies
• Maintains a clean safe hazardfree environment within area of responsibility
• Clears clean and resets tables according to procedures
• Cleans area under and around tables and hutches
• Removing dirty room service carts and dishes from guest rooms and hallways
• Trash/recyclable removal proper transport disposal and cleaning of receptacles and other related equipment
• Perform the following cleaning tasks as scheduled in assigned areas including but not limited to glass washer ice machine walls stainless steel floors and drains all trash/recycling receptacles and related equipment towel dispenser etc.
• Must be able to work in a fastpaced operating mode.
• Adheres to state liquor laws
• Performs all related compatible and miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications :

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to obtain an ATC liquor permit
• Able to sit walk stand bend lift reach pull push kneel squat and grasp
• Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours
• Repeated bending and lifting
• Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays and/or bus tubs weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly
• Must be able to push/pull full bus carts dish/glass dollies
• Work areas could have high volumes diverse clientele noise music minimal lighting bright lighting and smoky conditions
• Ability to work in a highpressure fastpaced environment
• Ability to handle all types of guest related situations
• Shift assignments may be irregular and will cover days nights weekends and holidays
• Must be able to pass all Training and Tests associated with job
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests coworkers and management
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
