Serves as key business partner liaison and mentor for property finance departments. Responsible for supporting property finance resource needs and training and development. Collaborate with property finance teams and shared services to improve financial processes and controls. Ensure consistency and standardization in finance processes and Identify best practices. Lead deployment of new initiatives within finance.
- Key business partner liaison and mentor to property finance teams.
- Support property finance teams with resource needs to ensure continuity and compliance with Company policies and controls for items including but not limited to forecasting journal entry preparation or review account reconciliation preparation or review and SOX controls.
- Responsible for the development and execution of new hire training programs for property Finance leadership.
- Adds value to property finance teams through analysis standardization of processes and implementation of best practices.
- Coordinates development and deployment of training programs for new technology and other key initiatives that impact property finance teams.
- Responsible for the development and execution of a high potential development program for key property Finance roles.
- Lead process improvement and new initiatives that impact property finance teams.
- Serve as advocate and colead process improvement initiatives that have crossover impact to both property finance teams and shared services organization.
- Identifies and utilizes current and future technology to minimize manual work and increase efficiencies through automation.
- Provides continuous coaching mentoring and development to staff.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or similar area; CPA preferred
- Five (5) years Controllerlevel or above and supervisory experience
- Previous experience in accounting financial analysis and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
