Job Description
Were looking for a Head of Equipment & Asset Management to drive the procurement maintenance and performance of all equipment across our expanding network of restaurants.
This position is pivotal in optimizing our assets ensuring safety compliance and supporting GYGs operational and sustainability goals both in Australia and the USA. Youll collaborate with teams across the boardfrom culinary experts operators and franchiseesto make sure our equipment always operates smoothly and efficiently.
What Youll Do:
- Build & Lead Strategy: Create a comprehensive asset management strategy that supports GYGs commercial and sustainability goals. Think big for Australia but weve got the USA in mind always.
- Safety: Lead our safety and compliance efforts ensuring that equipment standards meet health safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Asset & Budget Management: Keep our inventory precise develop asset lifecycle strategies innovate with new equipment and maintain our budget wisely.
- Procurement: Establish an equipment procurement strategy for AU and the USA focusing on sustainability and value while strengthening partnerships.
- Maintenance Management: Help create a national preventive maintenance program to keep downtime minimal and efficiency high.
- Data & Reporting: Prepare reports on performance maintenance and budgets. Use insights to recommend improvements.
Qualifications :

When we talk about the person were looking for we believe youre likely an engineering or operations management professional with a strong background in QSR or foodservice equipment. You get the importance of safety and compliance and know how to negotiate manage vendors and strategize across markets. Youre proactive detailoriented and innovative in optimizing resources while keeping a pulse on GYGs goals and values.
Your Skill Set:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Maintenance Operations Management or similar.
- Proven experience in equipment management within QSR or foodservice.
- Strong grasp of equipment maintenance and safety regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Expertise in PPM & Inventory software with an analytical mind and problemsolving abilities.
