Job Description

The PICU primarily monitors the Public Housing Programs 50058 submissions to HUD provides technical support to Property Management to address and correct transmission errors and administers the HUD Enterprise Income Verification System for the Public Housing Program.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Monitor and analyze administrative errors and deficiencies for the public housing program resulting from the processing of annual or interim reexaminations e.g. overdue annual
reexaminations tenant income discrepancies duplicate subsidies deceased tenants and failed identity errors.
Provide technical guidance to development staff for correcting errors resulting from rejection of the annual examinations and followup resolution thru the HUD EIV System.
Process HUD Alternate IDs for residents that are ineligible noncitizen.
Process and follow up on HUD Report Workarounds for overdue annual reexaminations and deceased tenants.
Process EIV users access activation modifications and terminations as well as respond to user inquiries.
Process SemiAnnual Recertification of EIV user access.
Process End of Participation for tenants who have moved out of the Public Housing Program and process new submissions for new tenants.
Support and advise property management staff on EIV Security Awareness to safeguard tenant data.
Maintain the highest level of customer service when interacting with other departments/agencies and responding to all inquiries directed to the PIC Unit
Data entry on various platforms.
Download and create reports in Excel for Property Management Department to monitor deficiencies in the EIV and HUD PIC Systems.
Submit corrections for unique identifiers (Social Security Numbers Date of Birth and First and Last Name) for public housing tenants.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college; or

An associate degree or sixty semester credits from an accredited college and one year of satisfactory fulltime experience in housing management at a development or developments containing at least 150 apartments performing any one or a combination of the following duties: interviewing applicants; determining eligibility; gathering and evaluating information to resolve complaints; collecting rents; and/or resolving tenantrelated problems; or

A fouryear high school diploma or its educational equivalent and three years of satisfactory fulltime experience as described in 1 above; or

A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience as described in 1 or 2 above. Undergraduate college credit may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of satisfactory fulltime experience. However all candidates must have a fouryear high school diploma or its educational equivalent.
