Job Description
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop robust methodologies for analyzing and interpreting location data to extract actionable insights and drive informed decisionmaking for clients.
- Actively participate in project planning progress tracking and client communication.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers to access preprocess and integrate diverse datasets for analysis and implement complex solutions.
- Develop and deploy algorithms and models to effectively convey insights to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Qualifications :
General qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Data Science Economics Business Analytics
- 35 years of experience in data science or a related field
- Fluent English both writing and oral
Technical requirements
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Knowledge of at least one of the cloud platforms (eg. Azure AWS preferably GCP)
- Version control
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Traditional ML projects (supervised and unsupervised)
- Experience with geospatial analysis tools like GeoPandas or QGIS is a plus
- Proficiency with data visualization tools experience with Folium is a plus
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to telecommunicationsspecific datasets or industry challenges
- Experience with location data analysis and relevant tools
