Salary: $105456 to $131820 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)

Position Summary

The Digital Project Management Office (PMO) team plans and implements key strategic Digital programs and projects to deliver outcomes benefiting UHN and the health system. We apply best practices for managing projects change and risk to ensure high quality deliverables effective coordination of resources and transparent progress reporting. Members of the PMO work in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders bringing the right teams together to streamline the demand endtoend delivery and operational services in order to mobilize change and achieve value.

An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Senior Project Manager with a primary focus on digitallyenabled Finance and Supply Chain projects (UHN Essential Business Controls).  As an innovative highly proficient digital project and change management leader and strong communicator you will work closely with business and technical teams to select and implement process and software solutions and optimize UHNs use of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba applications to achieve efficiency and revenue benefits. Examples of nearterm projects include automating invoice entry and other steps within the full procurement to pay cycle implementing a streamlined travel and expense reimbursement solution and putting in place a solution for automatic bank reconciliation.

Duties

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and UHN Digital leadership to establish business cases objectives and program/project roadmaps
  • Assume overall endtoend ownership of program planning and delivery for a mix of projects including large initiatives with complex technical change management and operationalization requirements
  • Mobilize a crossfunctional team with the right mix of talent and skills to execute on of shortterm and longterm plans
  • Establish and maintain strong program and project management office controls including management of scope schedule budget procurement financial and value delivery
  • Manage and coach assigned project management staff; this includes responsibilities for recruiting staff development performance management and resource allocation
  • Maintain a strong focus on governance change management and communications with an emphasis on outcomes value delivery and customer service
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues with appropriate escalation to senior leadership
  • Oversee procurement and delivery of goods and services manage vendor contracts and relationships
  • Be part of an oncall leadership rotation schedule to support UHN Digitals emergency response to critical information system downtimes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project and change management tools and processes within the Project Management Office Centre of Excellence

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 7 years Project Management experience required
  • Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration Technology Science Business or related field required
  • Masters degree in Health Administration Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Experience in finance business areas required
  • Experience in implementation and usage of SAP required minimum 5 years preferred
  • Excellent team building coaching and group facilitation skills
  • Excellent presentation writing and training skills
  • Excellent budget management skills and proficiency in data analytics to support IT investments
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large complex programs with diverse teams using fullcycle project management program management and change management methodologies required
  • Supervisory or managerial experience required
  • Experience in formal procurement processes contract negotiations and vendor management required
  • Experience with healthcare organizations and hospital information system implementation preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills at the executive and senior management level
  • Strong strategic critical thinking and problemsolving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient use of computer software and peripheral equipment (e.g. M365 tools MS Project MS Visio and scrum or enterprise work management tools such as Kanban Atlassian JIRA ServiceNow)
  • Minimum 5 years Program Management experience preferred
