Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Standard Journals
- Provide assistance with monthly HFM reporting where required.
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations and provide meaningful information regarding reconciling items. Long and unusual items are identified and appropriate action are taken.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide financial management information for decisionmaking.
- Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data information and trends.
- Responds to financial inquiries by gathering analyzing summarizing and interpreting data.
- Verify supporting documentation for validity accuracy and completeness and capture transactions on the accounting system.
- Manage interface exceptions effectively and ensure that appropriate timely actions are taken.
- Intercompany transaction reconciliation and review.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the departmental company processes and procedures.
- Assist in the intercompany reconciliations and payments
- Assist with Payroll recons and Journals
- Assist in monthly and yearend closure process.
- Assistance with internal and external audits.
- Ad hoc accounting projects.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree with 5 years experience in similar field.
- Experience working with African Entities
Key Competencies and Generic Skills:
- Strong analytical and reconciling skills.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Team player.
