The position involves supporting the ARC Linkage Project: Culture for Climate: Harnessing EcoCreativity to Transition Australias Performing Arts to Environmental Sustainability (LP).
As a Research Fellow you will join the Performance Ecology Research Team (PERL) at the Creative Arts Research institute (CARI) to explore ecocreative sustainability strategies to accelerate meaningful climate action in and through the arts. The project will develop innovative sustainability practices and policies that unlock and empower new ways of thinking and creating in a climatechanged world. The Research Fellow will work under the supervision of the Lead Investigator Dr Tanja Beer to support the projects research activities including the development of ecoliteracy workshops and practicebased case studies.

This is a fixed term (3 years) parttime position (0.6FTE / 3 days per week) and will be primarily based at the Griffith University South Bank campus. As Griffith is a multicampus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith Universitys campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The fulltime equivalent base salary will be Research Fellow Grade 1 in the range $86526 $101354 per annum plus 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $101236 $118585 per annum.
Qualifications :
The successful candidate will hold a postgraduate qualification (preferably a PhD) in a relevant creative arts field and/or have significant creative arts experience with research expertise or interest in Environmental Sustainability and/or Cultural Policy.
