To build more highperforming schools we need senior operations leaders to commit themselves to the most urgent and exciting work of our time! Regional Superintendents of Operations (RSOs) at Uncommon Schools serve as vitally important leaders in our organization and help drive the success of our schools. As Regional Superintendent of Operations you will oversee school and regional operations within your region in conjunction with your manager the Head of Operations. RSOs are responsible for ensuring that their schools operate at the highest level with systems in place that allow teachers and Principals to focus on instruction and academic achievement. The RSO ensures excellent school operations through direct management of a portfolio of Directors of Operations (DOOs) or school leaders who lead all noninstructional aspects of the school.
We are seeking an experienced strategic operational leader who will set a high bar for school operations and will achieve that vision of excellence by managing and supporting a team of DOOs. The Regional Superintendent of Operations will build their DOOs capacity to run highfunctioning operationally excellent schools. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Compensation for this position: Candidates who meet all job description requirements will likely receive an offer of 162600. The starting compensation for this role based in NYC is between $162.600 to $187400. The starting pay will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience education certifications tenure with Uncommon Schools and work location. To receive an offer at the top of the range candidates will need significant experience beyond job description requirements. Because we value staff tenure in a role we do not currently cap salary ranges for current staff members. Please note: ranges may differ for staff who work from a location other than NYC.
