Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Area Technician that will provide stellar customer service by responding to emergency calls promptly and providing routine maintenance to help fix the HVAC system for our guests.
As a Commercial Area Technician you will:
- Check and makes major repairs to plumbing systems gas lines toilets sinks refrigeration units stoves and ovens pumps and laundry equipment
- Check and makes major repairs to electrical systems such as power and lighting systems
- Communicate and receive information to/from manufacturers and vendors for pricing on material troubleshooting trouble to related equipment
- Complete material requisition for materials and places orders with completed purchase orders
- Create and maintain 52 weekly preventative maintenance programs on all kitchen & laundry equipment and assist other areas with the implementation of preventative maintenance program
- Ensure that all kitchen & laundry equipment is functioning properly and that preventative maintenance measures are performed to preserve the hotel and keep product quality standards
- Monitor mechanical electrical and water usage to ensure effective energy management
- Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions and or requests to ensure guest satisfaction
- Give and receive to and from maintenance requests and completion of individual assignments

Qualifications :
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or oneyear related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a vast knowledge of Laundry Equipment Food & Beverage equipment electrical and plumbing
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid drivers license to drive company golf carts
