Job Description
Join our Westgate Resorts team as a Security Officer and become an integral part of our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members.

As an Security Officer you will:
- Patrol the resort premises to maintain a visible security presence and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all securityrelated incidents including medical emergencies disturbances and property breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Enforce resort policies and procedures to maintain order and security.
- Assist guests and employees with securityrelated concerns and inquiries.
- Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify and address potential security hazards.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Complete accurate and thorough incident reports for all securityrelated incidents.
- Provide support and assistance to other resort departments as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Preferred DCJS license in the state of Virginia.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and serviceoriented manner.
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid drivers license to drive company golf carts.
- Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and TobaccoFree workplace. Except where prohibited by law applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
- Required to pass a background check drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
