Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Optical Lab Manufacturing Technician for our night shift operations in Salt Lake City Utah. Join our team and play a crucial role in producing highquality optical products for our customers. - Operate and maintain optical manufacturing equipment during night shift hours
- Perform lens cutting edging and finishing processes according to specifications
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Troubleshoot and report any equipment issues or production problems
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory
- Adapt to changing priorities and workload as needed
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Demonstrated experience in optical lab manufacturing or related field is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work night shifts is essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and stringent quality control skills are crucial
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and manage time effectively is necessary
- Competence in basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping is required
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is essential
- Superior communication and teamwork skills are imperative
- Reliable transportation to the Salt Lake City facility for night shift work is required
- Commitment to maintaining a consistent night shift schedule is essential
- Comfortable with a fast pace
