Job Description
Expert Maintenance Technician responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical manufacturing lab acting with oversight in a team Lead role. Duties include:
- Providing leadership to the maintenance crew
- Lead associates by ensuring they stay on task and in proper place for optimal workflow
- Ensure work orders are handled to resolve machine issues while minimizing down time affecting production efforts
- Train associates as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Maintain Preventative Maintenance equipment logs and checklists
- Service CNC Edgers CNC Generators Blockers
- Follow companys Lock Out/Tag Out procedures suggest safety measures
- Perform other tasks and lead functions as assigned
Qualifications :
- Associates Degree/Technical School Degree or equivalent work experience
- 35 years experience in the maintenance diagnosis and repair of complex equipment and industrial equipment (Electronics CNC type equipment preferred)
- Proven troubleshooting skills on complex equipment
- Experience working with PLCs programming
- Experience in a team Lead role
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical/electronic diagrams required
- Optical manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to read and write English
