About the Role
As a UX designer of Ubisoft Chengdu you are the bridge between game designers programmers artists and players. In development you work closely with the UI team 3C team and Design Team representing the perspective of players. Help us shape the game which could provide a smooth and immersive experience for our players.

What you will do
- Participate in design meetings give your advice from UX perspective help to shape the feature
- Design logic layout and flow of the games user interfaces including HUD menus and lobby based on information architecture and accessibility principles ensure that signs and feedback clearly communicate the game information based on best practices in accessibility
- Prototype your design use it to pitch your solution to team members
- Documenting the design for production
- Taking the ownership of the design making your judgment call when problems arise working closely with UI artists and programmer to deliver your design on time
Qualifications :
What you will bring
- You need to be efficient at communicate using English regards the game design
- You should be familiar with design tools and choosing the right tool to make prototypes based on needs
- You should be familiar with strategy games understand basic UX design principles and established rules of game design
- You should be able to comprehend the core idea of the designer and interpret it into prototypes and documents. You also know how to communicate with programmers and artists
- You should be able to clearly present your design to your team members at meetings
Bonus Points
- Familiar with any programming language is a plus
- Having experience of any game engine is a plus
- Having experience of Console game development is a plus
