Job Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Database Administrator for NBCC Bhavan in New Delhi. The Database Administrator will be responsible for database administration database design troubleshooting replication and ensuring the efficient performance of databases.
Tasks
- Design implement and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and enforce database management policies and procedures to enhance data security and integrity.
- Perform regular database backups recovery operations and conduct routine tests to ensure data availability.
- Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to optimize queries and database structures.
- Monitor database performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to provide timely resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in database management and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of database languages such as SQL PL/SQL and experience with various database management systems.
- Ability to ensure data integrity security and availability by implementing best practices and policies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
