Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the Belt Technician is accountable for completing mechanical maintenance functions (Predominantly belt splicing and general conveyor maintenance) within the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP).
Qualifications :
It is essential for the incumbent to demonstrate prior experience and/or knowledge in the following:
- Trade Qualification Belt Splicing.
- Previous exposure to coal handling plants preferred.
- Conveyor belt splicing.
- Conveyor maintenance.
- Safety systems.
- Computer literacy.
