This role will drive insightsoftwares product vision and strategy for our SAP reporting and data management solutions. As a business leader youll be responsible for driving the product and business P&L from end to end. This leader will be responsible for the successful execution of our short and longterm product roadmap closely tracking UX and industry trends and adapting the product strategy accordingly to drive annual recurring revenue and product line growth. This leader will oversee multiple global reporting and data management products their strategies and source new organic & inorganic opportunities.
This senior leader will be responsible for accelerating growth for current and future products and will need to exude unrelenting passion for our customer experience with strong financial acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ownership and accountability for product portfolios roadmap deliverables gotomarket strategy and P&L
Align global teams around a clear and compelling product vision and roadmap that inspires all key stakeholders
Create lead and own the value creation plan for the products in scope
Maintain a competitive market overview to identify white spaces strategic threats and opportunities
Develop business cases for new products product features and enhancements
Develop trusted relationships with key technology and functional leaders to drive focus on the product strategy and roadmap deliverables
Work closely and collaboratively with marketing sales customer success and services to execute customer acquisition and retention strategies
Demonstrate a metricsdriven mindset using and generating thoughtful data analysis to inform decisions that balance the needs of customer
Identify build buy and partner opportunities and lead the related acquisition strategy
Enhance our product strategy by balancing businesshypothesis testing and validated learnings with a deep intuition for what is important to our customers
Drive the product development organization in execution of releases ensuring we have the greatest of all possible ROIs through appropriately sized launches
Understand market requirements by partnering with key internal stakeholders and gotomarket team
Assess risks and dependencies across all the product and engineering functions and provide guidance to the Business Unit leadership
KEY ARES OF FOCUS:
PRODUCT GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY
Plans develops and manages product P&L (e.g. pricing marketing budgets headcount) short and longterm outcomes and business value of product portfolio including connection to roadmap objectives and key results and strategic investments.
GOTOMARKET ALIGNMENT AND MATRIX MANAGEMENT
Manages across channels to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g. revenue customer experience etc.).
Gathers competitive customer market and internal business priorities to design develop and continually optimize digital solutions that drive adoption engagement and growth across both digital and human customer interactions.
Leverages enterprise platforms and capabilities to improve speed to market and drive both development and ongoing support cost efficiencies e.g. provide more functionality for same investment or same amount of functionality for less investment.
PRODUCT STRATEGY VISION AND PLANNING
Pulls from market and competitive insights customer needs and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments markets channels go to market approach and value propositions).
Aligns this strategic vision with crossfunctional stakeholders to shape product roadmap investment areas and success measures.
Understand the product technical architecture understand the economics of technical investments e.g. buy vs. build total cost of ownership TCO.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Drives product development and actively engages crossfunctional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market and maximize return on spend in decision making for the product roadmap (e.g. issue resolution MVP definition ongoing prioritization). Prioritizes resources across developing new products and reimagining existing products.
Qualifications :
ERP expertise (SAP preferred) with demonstrated success of integrating with and growing multiple ERP partnerships
Extensive enterprise team management experience in a complex matrixed software environment
Ability to lead complex change management and communications
Strong ability to inspire and coach and a history of hiring managing leading and mentoring highperforming teams
Demonstrated success working with crossfunctional teams building consensus across the organization and being a critical part of a leadership team
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal who can successfully articulate highlevel strategy as well as tactical details
Experience defining and executing strategic initiatives with quantified results for customers and the business through constant learning and experimentation
Resultsproven experience working with or implementing product management and engineering best practices
Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to assess disparate data sources and extract meaningful actionable strategic insights and recommendations
