Job Description
As a key member of the Forefront Healthcare team you will play a dual role in providing exceptional food service and delivery for Pine Rest Christian Mental Health. This hybrid position combines responsibilities as a Driver and Server ensuring meals snacks and floor stock are delivered and served with professionalism care and adherence to food safety standards. You will serve as a liaison between the food service department and patient units delivering meals and snacks stocking units and setting up service areas to meet the dietary needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving and Delivery:
- Safely transport patient meal carts and snacks to designated units on time.
- Follow hospital policies and best practices for safety while driving and loading/unloading trucks.
- Communicate effectively to address any issues with deliveries or schedules.
Food Service:
- Assist in setting up service areas and patient trays for meal service while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Serve meals ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas and equipment.
General Responsibilities:
- Stock patient units with meals snacks and supplies.
- Follow all safety sanitation and storage protocols in compliance with federal state and local regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with patients staff and team members.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned including crossfunctional kitchen duties.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fastpaced environment.
- 1 year of food service or delivery experience preferred.
- Strong customer service organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Fluent in English (reading writing and speaking).

- Desire to serve patients with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and problemsolve.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent bending lifting pushing pulling and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying environments including kitchen and delivery settings.
Compensation:
Hourly Wage: $17.00 $18.50 based on experience.
Benefit Conditions:
- Fulltime employees eligible for benefits.
