To provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners aged 1.5 to 5 years. Guided by the relevant curriculum Homeroom Teacher will lead the implementation of developmentally appropriate practices to support childrens holistic growth and development. Homeroom Teacher will be teaching the subjects; ELAR Numeracy Science Art Music and ICT (for K2 only) that are aligned with relevant curriculums implemented in the ELC departments.
- Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans based on the IEYC framework to promote childrens cognitive social emotional and physical development.
- Establish and maintain a safe orderly and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage classroom resources materials and equipment effectively to support teaching and learning activities.
- Conduct ongoing observations and assessments to monitor childrens progress and development.
- Establish open and collaborative partnerships with parents/guardians through regular communication including parentteacher conferences newsletters and informal updates.
Qualifications :
- An effective educator demonstrates clear communication empathy adaptability teamwork problemsolving positivity resilience and a commitment to continuous growth.
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Familiar with Cambridge curriculum / IEYC Curriculum
- Experienced working with children in classroom setting
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Possessing knowledge and experience in differentiated learning
