Child Care and Supervision:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities meals and rest periods.
- Foster positive relationships with children building trust and rapport through responsive and compassionate interactions.
- Follow health and safety guidelines including emergency procedures and first aid protocols
Daily Routine and Activities:
- Assist in implementing daily routines including meal times nap times and toileting routines.
- Handle diapering and toilet training with sensitivity and consistency promoting independence and hygiene.
- Assist in engaging children in ageappropriate activities such as play storytelling music arts and crafts and sensory experiences.
- Encourage childrens independence and selfhelp skills through guided activities and positive reinforcement.
Health and Hygiene:
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment including sanitising of toys and surfaces.
- Monitor childrens health and wellbeing recognizing and responding to signs of illness or discomfort promptly.
- Ensure that sick or injured children are promptly taken to the clinic for treatment in the event of accidents and immediately notify Homeroom Teachers.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with teaching staffs regarding childrens daily activities routines and any concerns or updates.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other team members to ensure continuity of care and support for childrens holistic development.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about childrens individual needs and preferences.
Educational Support:
- Assist in setting up and organising classroom environments and activity areas to support planned activities and curriculum.
- Assist in ensuring that educational materials and resources are wellmaintained clean and ready for use.
- Assist in preparing and organising materials for daily activities and special projects.
- Assist in maintaining organised files of childrens work progress reports and other educational records.
- Assist in preparing and filing documentation required for compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Other workrelated duties:
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed such as updating childcare records managing supplies inventory and preparing reports.
- Support the administrative team during peak periods or staff shortages to ensure smooth operation of the organisation.
Qualifications :
- Minimum graduated from Diploma or degree in education or a related field is often preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as Teacher Aide/Nanny (exposure in school is a plus)
- Able to provide police clearance (SKCK)
- Compassionate attitude and strong understanding of child development
- Strong communication skills patience empathy and the ability to work as part of a team
- Wiling to work under 2months contract
