Job Description

We invite candidates to submit profiles for future clinical sessions.

Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks parttime Clinical Faculty interested in teaching students in our Evening/Weekend Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Clinical teaching is typically scheduled for at least one weekday weeknight or weekend (multiple schedule options may be available) for an 8week session at a clinical partner site. Chamberlain students experience practice settings that include large and small hospitals longterm care facilities community and publichealth agencies faithbased service organizations independent practices ambulatory care centers public health agencies military services (Army Navy and Air Force) VA Medical Centers schools home health environmentsanywhere healthcare is delivered. 

Complex Adult Health (Critical Care) You will be mentoring students in a clinical setting while they demonstrate nursing skills and procedures. A variety of population and settings are used in the experiential learning component of this course.  Adult patients with unstable emergent critical illnesses are the focus of this course. Students integrate nursing technological and scientific knowledge with clinical judgment to potentiate optimal health with a diverse patient population. Students utilize comprehensive assessment techniques advanced nursing skills and multiple nursing modalities to maximize optimal health.

Qualifications :

You are encouraged to explore this opportunity if you have:

  • A masters or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
  • An unencumbered professional nursing license in TX
  • At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required
  • Have genuine passion for nursing education and lifelong learning
  • Have exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are eager to serve students and colleagues with passion respect and care
  • Operate with a sense of responsibility and purpose with the desire to enrich colleagues students and the broader community

Additional Information :

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position Campus:
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1120 per assignment to $7245 per assignment.

Actual pay may be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
