Chamberlain College of Nursing has immediate need for qualified Mental Health Clinical Faculty (parttime) to teach in our BSN program. Teaching opportunities are available throughout the region.
Chamberlain College of Nursing clinical educators experience the powerful satisfaction that comes from helping educate empower and embolden students and advance the health of people families and communities as we face new challenges ahead together.
MentalHealth Nursing: Emphasis is on the dynamics of an individuals ability to function in society. The course focuses on content relative to anxiety selfconcept thought disorders mood alterations addictive behaviors organic brain dysfunction abuse and violence issues. It also incorporates health promotion and wellness issues such as stress management and personal growth. Therapeutic communication techniques individual and group therapy practices and community mentalhealth resources are also incorporated.
Clinical teaching is typically scheduled for at least one weekday for an 8week session at a clinical partner site. Chamberlain students experience practice settings that include large and small hospitals longterm care facilities community and publichealth agencies faithbased service organizations independent practices ambulatory care centers public health agencies military services (Army Navy and Air Force) VA Medical Centers schools home health environmentsanywhere healthcare is delivered.

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position Campus:
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1120 per assignment to $7245 per assignment depending on the candidates education and experience.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
