Job Description
The position is responsible for the implementation maintenance performance tuning and capacity management for all organizational systems as directed by management and senior staff. This position will provide 2nd level support and mentoring for Associate Systems Engineers and support staff.
- Designs installs configure supports optimize and administer server and/or network systems and applications.
- Analyzes project needs/requirements and recommends solutions to enable enterprise integration.
- Develops and implements systems and/or network standards processes and security.
- Communicates with vendors to obtain configurations and best practice recommendations.
- Troubleshoots and resolves help desk tickets as assigned.
- Shares oncall responsibilities for after hours support as required.
- Attends vendor training/conferences and presentations for continuing skills development.
- Trains and mentors team members and other Adtalem Global Education technical resources as necessary.
- Ellucian Banner with SSB module and Banner Admin Pages expertise preferred.
- Supports fullstack development efforts SQL Developer GCP and firebase databases preferred.
- Administers and coordinates client release upgrades for Financial Aid applications ProSAM expertise preferred.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Occasional travel to a variety of Adtalem Global Education locations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Three (3) plus years of progressive relevant industry experience.
- Ability to interact professionally with a variety of institutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Desire to grow knowledge and skill set through onthejob training formal classroom training and independent research.
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $74064.94 and $130001.91. Actual pay will be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
