Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Description:
- Support/perform SAP Basis Administration activities such as ID creation and transporting objects to different systems
- Document SAP processes procedures and plans; including changes upgrades and new services
- Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Work closely with the clients and business stakeholders to understand their pain points and requirements
- Install configure maintain migrate or upgrade the SAP systems as required
- Look into and troubleshoot SAP Basis related issues
- Perform regular maintenance and performance Tuning for Database and SAP systems
- Starting or stopping SAP instance
- OS space and disk management
- SAP system backup
- SAP system monitoring for superior performance and health
- Upgrading SAP kernels
- User administration and authorization
- Creating controlling and managing batch jobs
- OS level backup and recovery
- Request and transport management system
- OS level patch monitoring security and management
- SAP OSS Notes implementation
- Applying addons and support packages
- System landscape configuration and operation
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration
- Experience in installing and maintaining SAP systems
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Pharma experience highly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
