Job Role: Security Officer
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern 12hour shifts (07:0019:00) Average 42 Hours per week
Pay: 12.19 per hour
Location: East Midlands Gateway Wilders Way Kegworth Derbyshire DE74 2BB
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to join the team on our prestigious contract at CEVA East Midlands Gateway.
We are looking for experienced Security Officers who will be responsible for maintaining the security of the site; conducting internal and external patrols as part of a team and individually operating the search station and to act as the first point of contact for all visitors to site.
The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors to the site complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times.
Duties include:
Protecting the client s property people and assets by completing vehicle patrol access attending and reporting alarm incidents and locking/unlocking customer premises.
Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/ Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents.
Completing reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities.
Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site providing a professional and friendly service.
Operating and monitoring site CCTV equipment.
Requirements
Full 5year employment checkable history
Valid frontline SIA licences DS or SG
Good customer service skills with a high level of enthusiasm and passion
Experience of conflict resolution and the confidence to handle confrontational situations in the correct manner
The role requires use of internal IT systems so computer literacy is essential
Good written and verbal communication timekeeping skills and punctuality with flexibility to meet the job requirements
Smart in appearance and presentable
