Job Description

Join our dynamic team at TOMRA Food as a Field Service Engineer where youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cuttingedge food sorting systems. Were seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the challenge of providing topnotch customer service encompassing commissioning operation testing integration optimisation maintenance training and repair activities primarily in the Netherlands.

Reporting to our Team leader youll be an integral part of our field service team. Youll be responsible for promptly responding to equipment and customer issues both onsite and remotely. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering detailed field reports following each installation or technical intervention while also conducting training sessions for our customers maintenance and service staff.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently deliver field service work to meet cost and time objectives.
  • Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to exceed customer expectations.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues conducting necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer support processes.
  • Conduct installations and adjustments to TOMRA Food equipment as required.
  • Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operations and maintenace of our systems.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed field reports to guide administrative followup procedures.

Qualifications :

About You:

  • Bachelors degree in Electronics Electrotechnical Automation Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in onsite preventive and corrective maintenance supporting industrial customers.
  • Good understanding of IT networking and PC configuration.
  • A valid drivers license.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers colleagues and management.
  • Hands on able to deal with stress effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time primarily within the Netherlands with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages would be welcome.
