We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
**Hours**: This is a PartTime position you will be required to work 20 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of MondayFriday 8am4:30pm (flexible shifts available)

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
Orders receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
Occasional deliveries will be required (could be to residences or facilities or doctors offices); would be less than 10% of the time; would be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage
Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Connecticut
Access to reliable transportation & valid US drivers license
**Preferred Qualifications**:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience
**PLEASE NOTE**: The signon bonus is only available to external candidates. Candidates who are currently working for UnitedHealth Group UnitedHealthcare or a related entity in a full time parttime or per diem basis (Internal Candidates) are not eligible to receive a signon bonus.
**Connecticut Residents Only**: The hourly range for Connecticut residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets education work experience certifications etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
