Install or repair heating central air conditioning HVAC or refrigeration systems including oil burners hotair furnaces and heating stoves.
In Durham Techs HVAC (Continuing Education) courses students will work with equipment following safety standards and protocols to develop skills required for entrylevel employment as a technician in the HVAC industry.
Students who wish to eventually become a facilities maintenance technician would complete the Industrial Systems Technology HVAC certificate and apply those credits to the Industrial Systems Technology Facilities Maintenance Technology AAS degree program.
