Job Description: Location:Medical Center Fort Worth
Department:SpecialProcedures Area
Shift:First Shift (United States of America)
StandardWeekly Hours:32
Summary:The Gastrointestinal Procedure Nurse willdeliver competent and skilled individualized nursing care topatients in and out of the procedure room and skilled nursing careto families according to their identified needs. The RegisteredNurse will deliver care with a teamorientation an emphasis ongood customer relations sound clinical judgment and appropriatedecision making abilities that take into consideration evidencedbased practice. The RN may serve as a liaison between theGastroenterologist and other members of the medical team. Thisposition does require oncall rotation.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or has completedrequirements for BSN en route to MSN. 6 months of RN experience required.
Certification/Licensure: Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the Stateof Texas. Current BLS. PALS or NRP certification required. Certification as necessary in certain areas in the MedicalCenter.
