InHouse Property Lawyer/Conveyancer
Location: Sydney FullTime Permanent

Were seeking a motivated Property Lawyer/Conveyancer to join our clients team and play a key role in reviewing and authorising highvolume electronic settlements. About the Role
Based in the Sydney office and reporting to the General Manager you will primarily be responsible for reviewing conveyancing matters and ensuring seamless electronic settlements for our clients. You will be part of a collaborative team and will take on a range of important duties including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and conduct necessary due diligence on a high volume of conveyancing matters.
  • Authorise and sign off on documents for electronic settlements in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Work closely with the Onboarding Team to ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Oversee the signoff process for financial settlements including Trust monies within the agreed SLAs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients both verbally and in writing to provide updates resolve issues and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Director to review internal processes and identify potential improvements.
  • Advise on audits and checks conducted by both internal and external parties particularly with regard to ARNECC regulations.

Who You Are:

To succeed in this role youll need to have a solid foundation in property law or conveyancing with a strong understanding of the electronic settlement process. You will be a highly organised and customerfocused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Law Degree or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
  • An Australian Legal Practitioner Certificate (unrestricted preferred).
  • 2 years of legal and conveyancing experience.
  • Proficiency in the conveyancing process with handson experience using PEXA.
  • Strong ability to provide clear practical advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
