As a Sales and Service Engineer you will be crucial in expanding our customer base in Qatar focusing on the sales installation and servicing of hygiene and cleaning chemical systems including chemical dispensers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise problemsolving and sales skills. Responsibilities include providing expert advice assembling and fitting chemical dispensers offering onsite technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Qatars hygiene and cleaning chemical sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across industries such as healthcare hospitality and food & beverage.
- Provide technical consultations on the best chemical solutions tailored to customers needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product benefits.
- Achieve sales targets contributing to the companys market share growth in Qatar.
Installation & Technical Support
- Assemble install and fit chemical dispensers ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Provide handson training to customers on operating and maintaining chemical dispensing systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with dispensers and cleaning products for ongoing client support.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dispensers and other chemical application equipment.
Service & AfterSales Support
- Provide technical advice on the safe efficient use of hygiene and cleaning chemicals.
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper chemical system integration and application.
- Resolve customer concerns regarding product performance or dispenser functionality.
- Monitor customer satisfaction to maintain high service standards.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends including competitor activity and customer needs.
- Share insights with management on new product potentials market opportunities and customer demands.
- Prepare sales reports service logs and customer feedback for management review.
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with sales marketing and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions service activities and installations.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Chemistry or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in technical sales service engineering or a related field particularly in hygiene and cleaning chemicals.
- Handson experience with chemical dispensers or similar systems is preferred.
- Proven sales success ideally within the hygiene sanitation or industrial cleaning sectors.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of hygiene and cleaning chemicals dispensers and related systems.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
