We are looking for a Telecom BSS Architect to work as a technical leader with monthly travel to Azerbaijan.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of BSS solutions using the AmDocs stack ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee the integration of BSS components with other telecom systems ensuring seamless operations and consistent data flow between platforms.
- Manage and implement microservicesbased solutions to enhance the flexibility and performance of BSS applications.
- Promote the adoption of DevOps practices within the BSS domain focusing on automation continuous integration and continuous deployment to improve software delivery speed and quality.
- Lead BSS transformation initiatives including migrating from legacy systems to modern platforms ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Develop strategies and oversee the execution of data migration processes ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the transition.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers developers and operations teams to ensure BSS solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team promoting best practices in coding architecture and DevOps.
Work Model:
Monthly travel to Azerbaijan: two weeks during the first month then one week per month.
What were looking for:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least six years of experience in BSS architecture for telecommunications with extensive handson experience using the AmDocs stack.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture DevOps practices and BSS systems integration.
- Proven experience leading BSS transformation programs with a focus on data migration.
- Proficiency in Amdocs products Docker Kubernetes Jenkins Git and other DevOps tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a technical team fostering high performance and innovation.
- Availability to travel.
- Proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
