Follow recent developments in the legislation and advise company on compliance
Create countrywide resource basis for legal advice on all Health & Safety and Environmental matters
Act as the prime contact to the Health Safety & Environmental authorities maintain and foster good relations with the Health Safety & Environmental authorities
Develop Programmes and coach regional trainers for Preventive Programmes
Liaise with insurers for all company liability claims property protection etc
Cooperate with regional purchasing team to identify opportunities for cost savings related to EHS matters.
Organise and implement Standardised personal protective programme in order to ensure correct standard personal protective equipment is provided at an acceptable cost
Conduct Health & Safety Compliance Audits in accordance with the regional quality instructions and communicate audit results to management
Provide service to the local coordinators in the accounts by performing relatively simple in house statutory required measurements at no costs (noise measurements infrared thermographic surveys etc...)
Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training
Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls
