Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer

Assignment Duration: Temporary position covering a parental leave. Extensive experience in mechanical engineering CAD and design is essential due to the short duration of the assignment.

As a Mechanical Engineer in the Product Quality Department you will investigate and resolve field quality issues related to Marine and Industrial engines including base engine systems auxiliary equipment and exhaust aftertreatment systems. Responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis developing solutions and managing their implementation into series production. The role involves handson work in test facilities occasional customer site visits and collaboration with suppliers and factories.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (>7 years) in engine development and design using CAD.
  • Deep understanding of engine systems components and exhaust aftertreatment.
  • Practical problemsolving skills with a handson approach.
  • Strong communication and networking abilities.
  • Proficiency with tools like Creo Product Center and JIRA.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish with a Swedish drivers license required.
