Job Description
For our customer an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and nonroutine laboratory operations under general supervision
- Perform routine analyses (Protein Analytics) for product development and lifecycle management projects
- Conduct the sample management
- Utilize a variety of laboratory equipment demonstrating a high degree of skill acquired through onthejob experience
- Set up and operate special equipment with limited supervision following manufacturers instructions
- Work within current good scientific practice (GSP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab
- Research technical literature and evaluate experimental data and processes
- Aid and train less experienced employees when required
Qualifications :
- Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (EFZ Chemistry/ Biology) or Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry Biotechnology Biology or Chemistry
- Laboratory experience in QC industrial biomedical research or clinical labs
- Work experience with high sample throughput
- Experience with LIMS and ILM
- Good practical knowledge of the laboratory environment
- Fluent in English and German is a plus
