POSITION SUMMARY
- The COOP will be part of a technology team for Air Products new technology center in Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) in Saudi Arabia.
- The candidate will work on Software Engineering project and develop webapplications and tools for Oil & Gas Industry and specifically implement an Industrial Monitoring dashboard.
- Primary focus will be on learning architecting writing code and modules (Python Flask Django etc.) and preparing best practices for industrial applications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Understand the project requirements and ideate solutions.
- Troubleshoot problems in installation of software IDE and setting up of a data pipeline.
- Test algorithms from developer communities and evaluate the new developments with available opensource code.
- Architect the solutions and write code in Flask and/or Django or equivalent framework for the application.
- Document and present test cases and best practices.
SKILLS NEEDED
- Some experience with opensource web frameworks for Python such as Flask and/or Django. Equivalent experience with a different framework will be considered too.
- Familiarity with SQL or any database framework familiarity with SVG.
- Handson experience in coding in Python programming language is required or alternatively coding experience with C C or R.
- Previous developer experience in webapplication coding and software system integration.
