Job Description
- To organize daily testing activities according to report due date sample quantity test methods and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and QC plan to provide accurate results in timely basis.
- To supervise the work planning and work progress of the Technician(s) or Senior Technician(s).
- To maintain documentation related to MS ISO/IEC 17025 and assist the senior (Chemist or Senior Chemists) to update.
- To monitor and verify the performance of equipment(s) ensure functionality maintain and troubleshoot abnormalities.
- To maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and the testing conditions of the facilities.
- To assist the supervisors in managing the remnant samples and scheduled wastes on a regular basis.
- To assist in the investigation of any nonconforming work and report to the supervisors of the department.
- To provide support to the seniors in method performance validation and measurement uncertainty in terms of sample pretreatment.
- To perform developmental and adhoc activities assigned by the seniors/Assistant Manager/Laboratory Operation Manager
Qualifications :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Material Science Polymer Chemistry or any related Chemistry field.
- Min of 3 years working experience in relevant field for Chemist position.
- Analytical good command in English and have great passion in Laboratory work.
- Resourceful able to work under stress and to lead troubleshooting processes in the laboratory environment.
- Selfmotivated and result oriented able to plan and execute task in timely basis.
- Good communication skills and able to work with all employees at different levels in the organization hierarchy.
- Experience in implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IES 17025.
