Project Manager Eurofins Environment Testing North East

• Oversee and coordinate multiple large scale projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards and deliver
• Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocation plans.
• Liaise with internal clients to understand project requirements provide updates and address any concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff including scientists and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate results.
• Monitor project progress identify potential risks or bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Prepare and review technical reports data analyses and project documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and oversee their work when applicable to projects.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status challenges and improvements.
• Participate in business development activities including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve laboratory processes and project management methodologies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Biology or a related field preferable; Masters degree a bonus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory setting with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera) and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities including team motivation conflict resolution and performance management.
• Solid understanding of laboratory operations including equipment testing procedures and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a laboratory environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent Communication skills
• Proactive notification of issues ability to problem solve with team to deliver alternatives.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is highly desirable.
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
• High positive energy strongly people oriented with a commitment to service to others
• Facility expansion and construction experience a bonus.
