Job Description
This position is a key participant in the daytoday operation and planning of recombinant AdenoAssociated Virus (rAAV) process analytics assays with primary responsibility to execute established protocols of bioanalytical cell based and immunoassays. The individual in the role will participate in (but not be limited to) the following tasks:
- Execute analytical testing on automated liquid handlers according to laboratory protocols with a primary focus on cellbased assays including cell maintenance of multiple cell lines.
- Support qPCR/dPCR assays and immunoassays as needed.
- Support maintenance and verification/calibration of laboratory equipment in collaboration with the lab automation team.
- Prepare assay reagents and order lab supplies.
- Maintain good notebook documentation perform data analysis closeout experiments in a timely manner monitor assay performance and complete results and qualification reports.
This position requires good knowledge experience and skills with bioproduct assays. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree or M.S. degree in biology biochemistry biomedicine cell biology or bioengineering.
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with liquid handling automation platforms (Tecan Fluent Hamilton STAR/ Vantage etc.) is required.
Additional Information :
Position is Full Time MondayFriday 8am5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance to Philadelphia PA are encouraged to apply.
